Akatsuki no Yona (Japanese: 暁のヨナ, "Yona of the Dawn" , also known as Akatsuki no Yona -The girl standing in the blush of dawn-) is a Japanese manga series by Mizuho Kusanagi, serialized in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine Hana to Yume from August 2009. It has been collected in sixteen volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Pierrot aired between October 7 of 2014 to March 24 of 2015.

Akatsuki no Yona revolves around Yona, the only princess of his kingdom, and as such, carries a luxurious and carefree life ... But this peaceful lifestyle ends one day when one of the persons who loves kill her father and order to kill her. She was saved by her bodyguard and childhood friend Son Hak and these scene destroyed all her dreams and that will force them to leave her home.

Hak and Yona went to see Ik-soo, who is a oracle, and he told them to look for the four legendary dragons and took with them his friend Yoon because of his knowlege of medicine.

They travel throughout the kingdom in search of dragons to survive and save it.

The chapters of the anime finished when they found the dragons and returned to see Ik-soo.

THE FOUR DRAGONS: HAKURYUU (white legendary dragon), SEIRYUU (blue legendary dragon), RYOKURYUU (green legenday dragon) AND OURYUU (the yellow dragon).

*Their names are: Ki-Ja (white), Shin-ah (blue), Jae-Ha (green) and Zeno (yellow).
